Kite Surfing

Snorkelling

Zanzibar diving and snorkelling is amongst the most spectacular in the world with stunning coral gardens and more than 350 fish species recorded. The diverse aquatic life off Zanzibar’s coast includes frequent sightings of turtles and dolphins, as well as an occasional view of humpback whales. If you are very lucky, you may get to see a whale shark! Zanzibar's magnificent 20+ dive sites offer variety and adventure for beginners trying scuba for the first time as well as for experienced divers!

 Dolphin Tour

The most popular dolphin spotting location in Zanzibar is in Kizimkazi village located on the Southern coast of Zanzibar Island where you can see both bottle-nose and humpback dolphins.

The shallow coastal water around Kizimkazi is the favourite place for dolphins who come here for the reliable food supply, to nurse their calves, rest and socialize.

Wildlife

Rare Red Colobus Monkey - The Jozani forest is the home of the rare Red Colobus Monkey, which is only endemic to this forest. This part of your holiday mainly focuses on a visit to the naturally reserved forest on this specially dedicated excursion.


Mangrove Swamp & Other Wildlife - The Jozani forest also accommodates a large mangrove swamp and a tract of natural forest that is home to a few unique species including the Sykes monkey, bushbabies, Ader’s duiker, over 50 species of butterfly and 40 species of birds.

Stone Town

The Stone Town of Zanzibar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a fine example of the Swahili coastal trading towns of East Africa. It retains its urban fabric and townscape and contains many fine buildings that reflect its particular culture. This has brought together and homogenized disparate elements of the cultures of Africa, the Arab region, India, and Europe over more than a millennium.

The Seaweed Centre is the headquarters of a local enterprise that works towards enabling the women of Paje to harvest seaweed and transform it into a plethora of fascinating artifacts. These include scrubs, essential oils, organic soaps, and more! Make your way over to browse or indulge in a shopping spree. You could just take a look around, soaking in the ingenious set up of the processing center and farms.
